Belleville Senators suffer 4-2 loss against Laval, play Syracuse Crunch Friday

BELLEVILLE – The Belleville Senators were defeated 4-2 in their match against the Laval Rocket Wednesday night, their third of a five-game road trip.

Jack Rodewald of Calgary scored both goals for the Senators, bringing him to a total of 14 goals and 15 assists this season.

The team faces the Syracuse Crunch in Syracuse on Friday at 7 p.m. at the Onondaga County War Memorial Arena.

The Senators remains last in the American Hockey League’s north division. The loss in the game against Laval dropped them two places in the overall league ranking, to 28th of 31 teams.

On Saturday, the Senators play the Utica Comets at the Adirondack Bank Center at 7 p.m.
