BELLEVILLE – The Loyalist Lancers women’s and men’s varsity basketball team are in action on the road tomorrow in Toronto against the Seneca Sting in their final meeting of the regular season.

The women’s team is looking to bounce back after a 68-53 loss last Friday to the Algonquin Thunder.

The Lancers had only 16 points in the first half but were able to later bounce back in the second with 27 points, but it was not enough.

The team had a tough time shooting in their last game going 16-56 from the field and shooting 3-18 from the three-point line.

Brittany Mason led the team in scoring and rebounding with 15 points and nine rebounds.

She is currently averaging the most points on the team with 13.5.

The team is 5-7 in the standings and are sitting 6th in the eastern conference.

Game time starts at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

The men’s varsity team is also looking to get back to their winning ways against Seneca tonight after losing their last game to Centennial.

The lancers are currently 6th in the conference with an even record of 6-6 as they look to push above .500 tomorrow.

Game time starts at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
