Cobourg man charged with impaired driving

Belleville –  A 31-year-old Cobourg man was charged with impaired driving on Saturday night after someone reported a white pick-up in a ditch on on County Road 2 just west of Cobourg.

Northumberland OPP responded to a report of a white pick-up in the ditch

Police say the male driver of the pick-up truck was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was arrested and charged with impaired driving.

Police say that the accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg on February 13, 2019.
