Justin Falk sent down from Ottawa Senators to B-Sens

BELLEVILLE – Ottawa Senators [2] defenceman Justin Falk has been reassigned to the Belleville Senators.

Falk has played in just 10 games with Ottawa this season and hasn’t recorded a point since Nov. 30.

He also played in eight games with the American Hockey League [3] Colorado Eagles [4], scoring once and adding an assist.

The 30-year-old has played in 278 career AHL games, scoring 44 points and 10 goals.

He has also played in a total of 279 NHL [5] games with Ottawa, the Buffalo Sabres, the Columbus Blue Jackets, the Minnesota Wild and the New York Rangers.

The Belleville Senators [6] are back in action on Friday, when they’ll be at home, going up against the Toronto Marlies [7].
