  • November 1, 2011 at 10:42 am

By Sam Normand

A 21-month old toddler was bitten by a dog while trick-or-treating in Belleville last night.

The girl was treated for minor injuries and is now recovering at home.

No charges are being laid against the animals owner, however Animal control officials are investigation the incident.

This came during what Belleville Police are calling a “relatively quiet” Halloween night in the city, with pumpkin smashing being the biggest problem.

Police declined to comment on the incident.
