BELLEVILLE – The Parrott Gallery together with local musician Douglas Rice have organized a Mozart concert to take place Wednesday.

The concert is a part of the Quinte Concerts classical-music series.

The event takes place on the third floor of the Belleville Public Library at 254 Pinnacle St.

Rice, a singer, will be joined on stage by Isabella Guan, Deborah Smith, Jenny Wong-Garrett and Melody Yang.

Together they will perform five of Mozart’s finest pieces: Sehnsucht nach dem Fruehlinge, Sonata in C Major, Exultate Jubilate and two pieces from his most famous opera, The Marriage of Figaro.

The next performance will be on March 27 and will be dedicated to Schubert.

The concerts are free of charge, but the donations are appreciated.
