By Matthew Morgan

BELLEVILLE – The city of Belleville is buying the Cabaret – the former adult entertainment establishment located at 320 N Front St. – and will demolish the building and replace it with a parking lot in the interim.

A longer term plan for what to do with the property is still to be decided.

Council voted to buy the Cabaret from the owners – Pan Properties – for a price of $675,000 at Monday’s meeting.
