By Mike Fleming

BELLEVILLE – There will be a new chair of Belleville council’s planning advisory committee by the end of Monday night.

The committee will meet for the first time in 2019 at 5:30 p.m. Monday and the first order of business will be the appointment of a new chair and vice-chair.

There will also be the appointment of a brownfields subcommittee, which will deal specifically with unused lands that have been or may have been contaminated.

Other items on the agenda include two requests for zoning bylaw amendments and a report to bring the process for applying for zoning change up to code with provincial legislation.

More to come.
