BELLEVILLE – The Loyalist men and women’s volleyball teams both fell to the Canadore Panthers on Sunday afternoon.

Both teams lost three sets to one, losing in the last two sets after drawing even after the first two.

This loss extends the women’s losing streak to nine games. They won their last game on Nov. 24 against the George Brown Huskies.

Their 4-12 record puts them to ninth in the East.

Jillian Hoftyzer led the Lancers with 17 points.

The men’s team suffered their third loss in a row dropping their record to 3-13 and keeping them in eighth place in the East division.

Caleb Seguin’s 13 points lead the Lancers on the night.

Both teams go to Peterborough Wednesday night to take on the Fleming Knights to try and snap their losing streaks.

The women’s game is at 6 p.m. and the men will play at 8 p.m.
