Police called over duffle bag found near Belleville City Hall

BELLEVILLE – Police were called as an abandoned duffle bag was found near City Hall on Tuesday at 1 p.m.

The police were able to locate the owner of the bag in the nearby area.

The owner of the bag was a photographer taking pictures of the downtown area, Belleville Police say. The bag was returned to him. 

Police said that no further action was taken.
