Belleville man arrested after police foot chase

BELLEVILLE – Belleville Police say they have arrested a 36-year-old Belleville man after a brief foot chase.

Police say they responded to a call in Belleville’s west end at 7 a.m. on Monday regarding a person who was unwanted at a local home. The man was located on Sidney Street by police, and was arrested after a short chase where the man was found hiding in another home, police say. Police say the man is wanted on three separate warrants.

The man is being held for a bail hearing.
