BELLEVILLE – A Belleville man was found to be driving a vehicle with plates that weren’t registered to it, Belleville police said Wednesday.

Police conducted a traffic stop at 4 p.m. on Tuesday on Bell Boulevard. Upon investigation, they discovered the driver also did not have a driver’s license, police say.

Police say the 41-year-old Belleville man was not arrested but was charged and given a traffic court date.
