BELLEVILLE – Port Hope Police are investigating after a break-in at the Dreamers Café on Queen Street.

Police say that they responded to a call at the café for a break-in shortly before 4 a.m. Wednesday. When police arrived they saw that a glass door had been smashed to allow entry, and a small amount of cash had been taken. Police say the culprits left in a dark coloured vehicle travelling south on Ontario Street.

Police are continuing their investigation, and ask anyone with information to contact Port Hope Police or Crime Stoppers.
