Quinte West flood warning downgraded to watch

  • September 26, 2019 at 10:44 am

By Alan-Michael Steele

BELLEVILLE – Lower Trent Conservation is downgrading the flood warning that has been in place since May to a flood watch.

Lower Trent Conservation still urges residents to take care along the shore and on the water. They say unsafe banks can still be a problem due to erosion and high water. Both the Lake Ontario shoreline from Grafton to Quinte West and the Bay of Quinte shoreline within Quinte West are considered under flood watch.

Water level updates are available on their website here.
