City of Quinte West might be seeing changes in its transportation services by next year. City council agreed to request a proposal for public trans leaving 6 weeks to make one. It’s not enough time to make a new system says councilor Paul Kyte.

Two youths from Nappanee were arrested Monday night. A 17 year old male was charged with three counts of theft under $5,000 and one count of possession of stolen property under $5,000 and breach of probation. A 16 year-old was charged with three counts of theft under $5,000 and one count of possession of stolen property.

A fund for the Afghanistan Repatriation Memorials will receive 11 dollars from every “highway of hero’s ” coin sold by the Canadian Mint.
