BELLEVILLE – Loyalist College is hosting an all-candidates debate Tuesday evening in Alumni Hall at 7 p.m.

The debate is part of the Journalism program’s initiative ‘So You Think I Should Vote?’, a project run by journalism students to get youth interested in politics and start a conversation about democracy, elections, voting and the news media.

All five candidates running in the Bay of Quinte riding have confirmed their attendance. Liberal incumbent Neil Ellis, Tim Durkin of the Conservative party, the NDP’s Stephanie Bell, Danny Celovsky for the Green Party and Paul Bordonaro for the People’s Party of Canada.

More to come.
