Belleville to announce new direction, website for downtown

BELLEVILLE – The city of Belleville will be announcing a brand new direction for its downtown district  Tuesday evening at Caper’s.

Kelsey Moniz, Downtown Belleville’s media officer, says that along with the revamp plan, the city is launching a new and improved website, bringing advanced navigational features to the public.

Local business owners will be attendance. Melanie Hilmi, owner of Caper’s and singer of Toronto-based indie band The BelleRegards, will be performing at the event.

Mayor Mitch Panciuk has also confirmed his attendance.

The launch event begins at 5:30 p.m.
