Archives might be on the move to the Irish Hall

Hastings County Historical Society plans on moving its archives to Irish Hall on Church Street. Campaigning will start after Christmas. The fund has raised $700,000 so far.

Premier Dalton McGuinty has said there is no new progress on a gas plant being shutdown in Mississauga. He made the promise to shut down the plant during his campaign in October.
