Employment Resource Centre taking strides to prepare fresh workforce

The Belleville Employment Resource Centre is taking strides to prepare a fresh workforce, with 39,000 unemployed Ontarians in October.

130 employees of the Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Aid Society will vote on a contract offer today to resolve issues around work load, job security, hours of work and layoff language.

The Quinte West Professional fire-fighter association held its 20th annual Coats for Kids program last night, where many children returned clothes they got last year to give to others.
