Almost 100 Highway of Heroes coins have been sold since the beginning of the week, leaving Mayor Williams proud of the community support.

Thousands stood in silence around the National War Memorial in Ottawa today to remember Canada’s fallen soldiers for Remembrance Day.

The Mayor of Halifax has told occupy protesters to move on, handing out notices they’re breaking municipal bylaws. Police took down tents, tarps and packed up protesters personal belongings.
