Charges laid in collision near Bayside

BELLEVILLE – Five people, including a one-year-old child, were injured in a two vehicle collision Saturday night.

The incident occurred just before 8 p.m. on Old Highway 2 west near Whites Road. The highway was closed for approximately 90 minutes.

One passenger had to be extracted from their vehicle. All five people were sent to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

A 54-year-old Belleville woman has been charged with careless driving.  She was also issued a 3-day licence suspension.
