BELLEVILLE – With the Christmas season over, Salvation Army will be hosting a dinner for volunteers of its kettle campaign to say thank you.

The dinner will take place on Wednesday starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Salvation Army Church on Bridge Street.

The kettle campaign is an annual event intended to raise money for their charitable work done throughout the year.

Last year’s campaign surpassed the $200,000 goal. Final numbers for this year’s campaign are still to come.

More to come.
