  • January 27, 2020 at 10:34 am

By Ryan Peddigrew

PICTON – A 64-year-old Prince Edward County resident has been charged with failing to yield in connection with the side-swiping of a school bus in Picton last week.

The incident happened Wednesday just after 2:30 p.m., on Elm Street, when the school bus with students on board was side-swiped by a vehicle. There were no injuries.

Prince Edward County OPP are reminding drivers to only park in designated areas around school zones so students can safely get to and from school, and so bus drivers can safely do their jobs.
