New third floor space at Loyalist to officially open

BELLEVILLE – The $3.2 million upgrades to the third floor of the Kente building at Loyalist College will be officially unveiled Tuesday afternoon.

The upgrades include a new simulation centre, high-tech classrooms and state-of-the-art spaces for students.

The new spaces will primarily be used by students in the School of Health and Human Studies.

$1.6 million of the funding was committed by the federal government with $800,000 being committed by the provincial government.

The opening ceremony will start at 2 p.m. in room 3N27 of the college.
