Students honoured at Loyalist College awards ceremony

More than 240 students received an award at Loyalist College’s award ceremony Wednesday evening.

Each November, Loyalist College presents awards to students who have shown outstanding academic  performance or a financial need. This year there were 306 awards totaling $172,298.

The awards are donated by individuals and businesses.

New awards this year include the Albert and Ann Theriault Memorial Endowment Fund, The Andrew White Excellence in Media Award, the Donald Royce Memorial Endowmnet Bursary, The Northland Power Award, the Project Hero Scholarship, and the Quinte Early Childhood Education Resource Centre Endowment Fund.
