There is nothing like watching a movie in a theatre

  • February 4, 2020 at 2:12 pm

PICTON  – Recently, more and more people are staying at home to watch movies on streaming services like Netflix.

For well over a 100 years people have enjoyed going to a theatre to watch movies. With the growing popularity of streaming services people are looking towards their couch to sit and watch a movie rather then a theatre seat.

Netflix has given the world many awarded winning films, such as Roma, The Irishman and more. Although, many filmgoers and filmmakers have said that there is nothing like watching a movie in a theatre.

Alexandra Seay, Regent Theatre manager, says storytelling should be a shared experience. She said there is no better way to share the experience of watching a movie then sitting in a room full of people.
