BELLEVILLE – A 47-year-old Loyalist Township man is charged for drunk driving after police found him in the driver’s seat of a parked vehicle, according to the Lennox and Addington OPP.

The OPP is investigating the incident that took place in a parking lot off of County Road 41 in Greater Napanee after they found the man at 12:30 a.m. Sunday. He was arrested and taken for testing by a drug recognition expert, police say.

He was released and is scheduled to appear in court on January 19, 2021. His licence is suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
