Pedestrian killed by train in Cramahe Township

BELLEVILLE – A train struck and killed a pedestrian walking on the tracks near Colton Street in Cramahe Township on Wednesday night. 

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported in the collision. The area was closed to vehicle and train traffic until 2:00am while police investigated. 

This incident remains under investigation.
