Service changes to recognize National Day for Truth and Reconciliation in Belleville

BELLEVILLE – On Monday, Sept. 30 the city of Belleville will be having a special ceremony in Market Square from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

The day also means some service changes in the city. 

The following changes are:

  • City Hall – Closed.
  • Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre – Closed. Clients of Belleville Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic and The Therapeutic Massage Centre can still enter the building through the west entrance. 
  • Leaf and Yard Waste Depot – Closed. 
  • Belleville Public Library – Closed. 
  • Community Archives – Closed. 
  • Glanmore National Historic Site – Closed. 

Regular transit and mobility transit will operate as usual. 

There are no changes to the Thurlow Landfill or Hazardous and Electronic Waste Depot operating hours, or to waste and recycle collection.
