Long wait list causes added anguish for victims

The long wait list for the sexual assault centre has caused some victims added anguish to an already traumatic experience.

The wait list affected the centre’s workers as well.

Jennifer Bowman reports the Sexual Assault Centre for Quinte and District responded to this summer’s record-breaking wait list numbers by hiring two more staff.
