Seventy-year-old man charged with possession

Belleville, Ontario – A 70 year old man and two other residents of a Victoria Avenue home were charged with possession of illegal substances on Jan. 31.

Project Longarm, performed in conjunction with the Belleville Police Service ERT and the canine unit performed a search warrant and found a small amount of marijuana, cannabis resin and cocaine on the premises totaling a value of $400.

The accused are due to appear in provincial court on Feb. 23.
