Dead man’s body found in Quinte Conservation area

BELLEVILLE, Ont. (12/03/12) Police presence continues at Quinte Conservation Park near Wallbridge-Loyalist Road and Old Highway 2 after a body was found at the park last night. A post mortem on the body is being conducted this morning. Photo by Melissa Murray.

All trails at the Quinte Conservation area are closed after the body of a man was found Sunday night.

Quinte West OPP responded to the discovery of the body around 6:30 p.m.

Police remain at the Old Highway 2 and Wallbridge-Loyalist Road conservation area.

Const. Dave Snider said more details about the discovery would be released when the post-mortem examination concludes later today in Ottawa.
