Mo-Bros meet to make a difference

The start of November means that razor blades are off limits to men at Loyalist.

Movember kicked off with the start of the month and students are urged to sign up with the Loyalist Movember team. For only two dollars any student with a clean-shaven face can register to be on the “Moustache Army”.

Movember is a month long event from the start of November to the end where men do not shave their moustaches.  The craze that started in 1999 has gained vast popularity in the last couple years.

Over 50 people have already signed up and that does not exclude women. Girls are encouraged to wear a fake moustache in support.

The campaign is designed to raise awareness for prostate cancer and men’s mental health. Last year over $38 million dollars was raised nationwide.

Students have a chance to sign up for the team on Monday in the cafeteria from 12 noon until two.
