Police are investigating after a car took the brunt of a beating early Tuesday morning.

At 2 a.m. police responded to a parking lot of a Dundas St. East apartment building in Belleville.

The car had all four tires slashed,  all windows and the windshield were smashed, and words had been scratched into the hood’s paint.

No other vehicles were vandalized, and witnesses saw a man running from the parking lot.
