Crash simulation highlights risky behaviours

  • September 16, 2013 at 2:10 pm

By Suzanne Coolen

The Alcohol and Related Risk Committee at Loyalist College is hosting an extrication exercise that will give students an opportunity to see what it would be like to be in a vehicle crash. The goal of the exercise is to educate Loyalist students about the possible consequences of risky behaviour. These risks include both texting and driving and drinking and driving.

Unintentional injury is the number one cause of death among Canadian teenagers.

The event will take place Thursday from noon to 1 p.m at the main entrance of the Kente building.
