Mohawk Agricultural Fair kicked off with a bang

A demolition derby kicked off the Mohawk Agricultural Fair Friday, the 20th with a bang.

Patrons from Tyendinaga, the Quinte region and abroad stopped by to watch two hours of wanton destruction and chow down on some fried bread. Small cars, big cars and modified cars all bashed each other to utter destruction in different heats. Winners came away with up to $500 in prizes at the end of the night.
