BELLEVILLE – Thousands of people in Ontario are without power as a wind warning continues for most of the province.

Outages reach from Montreal to Toronto, and into Northern Ontario. Over 300 households in the Quinte region are currently in the dark, according to Hydro One.

Environment Canada says the winds the Belleville area is experiencing are at 60 km/h with gusts up to 90 k/km, but will taper off late this afternoon.
