Workers’ rights forum in Belleville

BELLEVILLE – A workers’ rights forum is being held in Belleville this month.

The forum is being held to discuss a report from the Law Commission of Ontario on vulnerable workers and precarious work.

The keynote speaker will be Patricia Hughes, the executive director of the Law Commission of Ontario. Other speakers include Karen Dick of the Workers’ Action Centre and Bob Cottrell of the Living Wage Campaign.

The forum will begin at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28, at Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Parish, 169 North Park St.
