Investigation into Loyalist invasion continues

  • November 26, 2013 at 1:37 pm

By Katy Burley

BELLEVILLE – Belleville Police are still investigating an invasion at a residence building at Loyalist College late last week.

At around 10:15 p.m. Thursday night, police were dispatched to an incident in the new residence complex at Loyalist. Four men entered one of the residence buildings and robbed several occupants of personal property. Police have said they believe the intruders were armed. No one was injured in the incident. Some of the stolen property – mostly electronic equipment – was later recovered, police said Friday.

They issued descriptions of the suspects in seeking the public’s help to identify and locate them.

Deputy Police Chief Paul Vandegraaf said this morning that there are no updates on the investigation.
