  • January 10, 2014 at 5:48 pm

By Amanda Lorbetski

BELLEVILLE — Eight years in office have given Belleville Mayor Neil Ellis many accomplishments to reflect on.

QNet News reporter Amanda Lorbetski had a conversation with the mayor Wednesday afternoon.

Ellis confirmed reports that he’s giving up his mayoral duties when his term ends in December of this year and will be seeking the Liberal nomination in the new Bay of Quinte federal riding.

Looking back, he says there are a lot of moments he’s proud of.
