BELLEVILLE – This winter has been one of the worst this area has experienced in a long time and there are people sleeping outside in the freezing temperatures and snow every night.

What should be done? How do you feel about homelessness in Belleville? Are politicians and social services in the city doing enough?

QNet News will be hosting a live blog chat on Wed. Feb. 12, at 7 p.m. to discuss the issue of local homelessness. Belleville city councillor Jodie Jenkins will be joining QNetNews reporters Alisa Howlett and Erin Stewart to discuss this vital issue.

Participation is easy, to join the conversation all you need to do is go to come here at 7p.m. and comment in the stream below.

Read the stories bellow to hear the stories of two men who are in that position.
