BELLEVILLE – Could taxi service in Belleville be better?

QNet News has heard several complaints about longer-than-usual wait times for cabs, with some people waiting more than an hour.

“Our customers complain quite frequently,” said Lacey Asselstine, who works for Slapshots Bar and Grill on Cannifton Road. “They are always told that the wait is five to 10 minutes but always it’s closer to an hour.”

QNet News is looking into this story – more to come.
