BELLEVILLE – Georgina Thompson is the recently-defeated provincial Liberal candidate for the Hastings-Prince Edward riding. She’s also a Belleville resident with a long and deep involvement in the community.

QNetNews sat down with Thompson recently for our Municipal Election Project. We covered many different issues that arose during the first part of our project, including but not limited to: the downtown, the proposed casino, healthcare, high child poverty rates in Belleville, the future of the Yardmen Arena and the Belleville Bulls, and keeping business competitive in Belleville.
