BELLEVILLE – Georgina Thompson is the recently-defeated provincial Liberal candidate for the Hastings-Prince Edward riding. She’s also a Belleville resident with a long and deep involvement in the community.
QNetNews sat down with Thompson recently for our Municipal Election Project [3]. We covered many different issues that arose during the first part of our project, including but not limited to: the downtown, the proposed casino, healthcare, high child poverty rates in Belleville, the future of the Yardmen Arena and the Belleville Bulls, and keeping business competitive in Belleville.
