Businesses get chance to meet with Quinte West politicians at mingle

In an effort to bring tourism to the Bay of Quinte, the Bay of Quinte council hosted a mingle at the National Air Force Museum.

The event took place on June 19th at the National Air Force Museum from 5p.m – 7p.m. The mingle took place after the council’s regular meeting.

“Part of the reason for having a regional mingle is getting people from different municipalities and the Bay of Quinte region together to meet one another and talk about each others businesses” says Dug Stevenson, the Tourism Director for the Bay of Quinte mingle.

“This is a fantastic opportunity,” Stevenson says.

This event helps businesses network and form relationships with other businesses.

“We hope to have more in the future, it is just a great way to get people involved with tourism and to learn more about what is going on and what we are doing as a council” says Stevenson.

Businesses were encouraged to bring their promotional material to display around the museum.

“We anticipate to have a second one in the fall in Brighton,” says Stevenson.
