Election Project 2014

Marilyn Szoldra

  • September 26, 2014 at 8:49 am

Marilyn Szoldra grew up in Toronto, where she got her BA in English from York University. Although she has no prior political experience, she worked for the provincial government for 22 years. She left as manager of paralegal and administrative services for Ontario Realty Cooperation, which is an organization that provides real estate services to the Ontario government.

Seventeen years ago, Szoldra moved to Wellington and had her own antique business for a short time. She has since been working as a customer service specialist for Sears.
Szoldra’s main priority for Prince Edward County is growth.

“Wellington needs to help in the creation of jobs,” she said.

Szoldra also wants the council to promote affordable housing, and create an environment that encourages young families to thrive.
