David Harrison, 66, is a father of two and grandfather of three. Harrison is a farmer and commercial fisherman and is running for councillor in North Marysburgh (ward 8). Harrison says he took a business program for one year at Loyalist College and is a lifelong resident of Prince Edward County.

Harrison has thirteen years of municipal experience serving as Reeve, Deputy Reeve and councillor for North Marysburgh.

Harrison says if elected, he wants to improve the climate for existing businesses and provide more opportunities for new businesses as well. He also wants to focus on finding jobs for young people in the county. Harrison would also like to keep taxes as low as possible for property owners and wants to stop the trend of reducing hospital services in the county.
