BELLEVILLE – Transit passengers may have noticed sample customer surveys posted on Belleville’s buses Monday.

Starting Sept. 30th, passengers will be asked to participate in a survey. It will ask riders questions such as where they are getting on the bus, or if they’re transferring, says transit manager Matt Coffey. He says the survey is part of Belleville Transit’s operational review. The city needs the data to determine where there’s heavy traffic and how many people are taking transit.

The review is being done through a third-party company hired by the city back in May.

More to come as the survey starts.
