By Cam Kennedy

BELLEVILLE – The best high school girls basketball players in the Quinte region will all take the court Thursday night.

Centennial Secondary School will play host to the annual all-star games between the best junior and senior players.

Centennial’s senior girls basketball coach, Debbie Clare, explained that the event won’t just feature the two basketball games.

“We will have a shooting contest at half (time) and we will be choosing MVPs at the end of the games,” said Clare.

The junior all stars will square off at 5 p.m. with the senior contest set to follow at 7 p.m.
