BELLEVILLE –  Crime Prevention Week is underway and the Belleville Police Service will be hosting a series of presentations to educate the community on crime prevention.

The theme is that together we can make a difference in community safety and well-being.

A presentation regarding internet safety will be taking place Nov. 4 from 6 to 8 p.m.

On Nov. 5, there will be an opportunity to learn about crime prevention through environmental design. This will be taking place from 6 to 8 p.m. and will include topics such as proper locks, effective lighting and more.

The third and final presentation will be on Thursday, Nov. 6. This will be a showcase of police units including forensics, emergency response, traffic and more that make up the Belleville Police Service.

All events will be held in the fireside room at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.
